This basic emergency seed kit will grow 4,000 pounds of food. If you harvest the seeds, this multiplies the amount of food you can grow and you could easily have enough food to support a family of four to six down the road. The 15 varieties of seeds were selected for their nutritional value, hardiness and food that would sustain you in an emergency.
All of the seeds are 100% Heirloom, non-GMO, open pollinated and organic. There are no hybrids and the germination rate is 85% +. When you store them in a cool, dark, dry place they will keep for years. Seeds are individually sealed in a small re-sealable Mylar pouch and then packaged inside a larger re-sealable Mylar bag.
The pocket-size 24-page Seed Guide includes growing instructions for a number of vegetables, fruits and culinary herbs. It also covers harvesting culinary herb seeds and soil amendments. A zone planting map and planting chart is also provided for your convenience.
